When I print my blends (gradients\fountain fills) from Illustrator or Corel Draw there is banding in the blends.
There is a feature called "lock screens" in the AccuRIP SETUP that controls your line screens and angles. When this feature is turned ON (on by default) the blends will be smooth.
Users that turn OFF this feature and allow Corel or Adobe to control the resolution, angles and line screens may see banding. Those applications do not control the blends as well as AccuRIP.
Turn ON "lock screens".
From the File menu or Quick Menu choose Edit Configuration, click Configure Halftone. Check the feature called Lock Screens. Set you line screens and angles here to over ride the applications setting.
Easier, faster, less work for the user and better results.
Version 1.03 and earlier:
From the File menu in AccuRIP choose SETUP, then click on the tab called "How would you like this screened?" and check the feature called Lock Screens. Set you line screens and angles here to over ride the applications setting.
