My Epson printer is not working as expected. If a printers firmware is not up to date images can sometimes print larger than expected at certain resolutions, may not handle advanced Postscript effects in your graphics applications and or but not limited to network connection issues.
Firmware is the software "brains" of your printer. Keeping Firmware up-to-date is good maintenance.
Epson post all Firmware updates on its support page. Go to the printer driver download section select your printer model and download the newest firmware update. Wide format Epson printers require the software called Remote Panel (LFP) to communicate to the printer. Download that software as well.
Run the Remote panel software and choose firmware update, select your printer model then locate the firmware file. The file then loads to the printer.
