The Epson 4900 Inkjet printer is a popular model with screen-printers. With 11 cartridge slots it also manages a very large volume of ink. The All Black Ink system for the model loads BLACK INK into each slot dedicating the device to high-production film output.
Before installing an All Black Ink system in any printer it is important to setup the device first with the color inks that shipped with the printer. Determine first that the printer is in proper working order and address the issues with Epson first, before changing over to any ink system.
The 4900 inkjet also requires setup using the Epson start-up inks so ink replacement will go smoothly. Failure to do so can create unnecessary downtime and costs.
