The use of Parallels and VMware software to run a Windows OS on a Mac computer is not recommended. Yes, it works and it’s amazing that we can now do this but, the performance is terribly slow and the setup is tricky.
When handling graphics, a computer needs all the power and RAM you can manage. Using these virtual software shells running on the same processor kills performance and for those that install and run it using the "default settings" the results are usually not perfect.
Freehand offers no direct support to any user that attempts to run or share drivers for AccuRIP or Separation Studio from Parallels or VMware. All setup support must come from those manufacturers directly.
It is highly recommended for the best performance and trouble free experience that you run independent computers naturally with individual OS's. Freehand offers full support for these setups.
